Mostly Well Holiday Gift Guide: Picks for the Active Women in Your Life

Most of us start our holiday shopping in November, and whether you’re shopping for a fitness-loving friend or looking for ideas to add to your own wish list, I thought I’d share with you some of my favorite finds for active women.

A quick note about Mostly Well merchandise: all items are made-to-order. This is a more eco-friendly approach because it avoids excess inventory that could go unused or discarded. But it does mean orders take a little longer to process, so be sure to shop early if you want your gifts to arrive in time for Christmas.

Holiday Unisex Premium Sweatshirt - Lunges & Pushups & Kettlebell Swings: These Are a Few of My Favorite Things

This cozy crewneck sweatshirt is my top pick from the Mostly Well holiday designs. It’s perfect for the festive lady in your life who goes hard and plays hard during the holidays. Bonus: it comes in inclusive sizes, from small to 3XL, so you can find the perfect fit.

This lightweight long sleeve tee is a recent favorite. It’s breathable enough for winter workouts here in Texas (where temperatures range wildly) but stylish enough to layer under a jacket for chillier climates. I especially love the festive Heather Red shade, though there are other colors available.

If you’re shopping for a runner, this pullover is a fantastic choice. The high neck and thumb loops make it ideal for cold morning runs when we want to keep our necks and hands warm. This is a Champion piece branded with the Mostly Well logo, so you know it’s high quality. My favorite color: Fresh Olive.

These joggers are impossibly soft and versatile enough for workouts, lounging, or sleep. They’re incredibly durable, and I can’t get enough of them—I own three pairs! Heads up: Vuori sizes run slightly large in my experience, so consider sizing down if your friend is between sizes.

If your friend likes the Mostly Well brand but you’re not sure what to gift, you can let her pick her favorite items from our store with an eGift Card. These cards are redeemable for all physical merchandise but don’t apply to workout subscriptions.

Hydration and Nutrition Essentials

I love my Mostly Well Water Bottle! The stainless steel keeps my water ice cold during long bike rides, and it’s perfectly sized for car cupholders and mini backpacks. It also works great for hot drinks—ideal for those chilly early mornings.

We all have those moments when carbs just call our name. Enter Prodough Protein Bakeshop! Their pancake, donut and dessert baking mixes are packed with protein, so you can satisfy your cravings while supporting your fitness goals. My favorite? The Cinnamon Sugar Protein Donut Mix—it’s a game-changer.

I was loyal to Vega Protein for years (and still recommend it for anyone who’s bothered by the gastrointestinal upset many protein powders can cause), but Transformation Protein changed the game for me. The Vanilla Ice Cream flavor tastes amazing with just water, and it’s packed with clean ingredients and a touch of iron—an essential nutrient for active women, especially during their reproductive years.

Getting protein powder to consistently mix into your milk, water or coffee can be a struggle, but the Zulay Kitchen Frother Wand makes it so much easier. It’s perfect for blending protein shakes, or adding protein or adaptogen powders to drinks. At less than $15, it’s an affordable stocking stuffer for any fitness enthusiast.

Other Workout Gear and Recovery Gifts She’ll Love

Junk Brands Headbands - $17

I owe the Mostly Well community for this recommendation! These headbands stay put during even the most intense workouts, and they come in a ton of fun designs. Whether your friend is a yogi or a runner, there’s a style for everyone.

Jaybird Vista 2 Earbuds - $160

Wireless, waterproof, and military-grade durable, these earbuds are the real deal. They’re a recommendation from triathlete Rachel in the Mostly Well community, who says they’ve held up during her marathons.

DACORM Massage Gun - $60

Recovery is just as important as training, and this affordable massage gun is a lifesaver. With multiple attachments, it’s great for working out tight muscles and stubborn knots. At $60, it’s a steal—and perfect for anyone serious about fitness.

BetterYou Magnesium Sleep Mineral Bath Flakes - $18

For the friend ramping up her training, these magnesium bath flakes are a lifesaver. They ease muscle soreness and promote restful sleep, which can be a challenge for women as we enter perimenopause and menopause. The lavender scent is especially soothing.

Osea Undaria Algae Body Butter - $54

Sweaty women take lots of showers. Lots of showers means dry, irritated skin. Our skin also loses its ability to retain moisture as we age, which compounds the problem. Osea’s Undaria Algae Body Butter is a luxurious moisturizing cream made from nutrient-rich seaweed, shea butter and ceramides. It smells heavenly, smooths out dry patches and makes your skin look like it did 20 years ago. This gift is perfect for the active woman who works hard but forgets to pamper herself.

Massage Gift Card

When in doubt, give the gift of relaxation! A massage gift card to a local day spa is a great way to help your friend recover from tough workouts. Some of my Austin favorites include Spavia, Massage Envy, and Viva Day Spa.

Happy shopping, and here’s to a holiday season filled with thoughtful gifts for the active women in your life!
