Roommates
Retreat rates are per person. Mostly Well Summer Camp is a community-focused retreat designed to foster connection, support, and shared experiences. All overnight tickets include shared lodging with fellow campers—there are no private, individual rooms available. By signing up for this camp, you agree to treat roommates and fellow campers with respect.
Acceptable Behavior and House Rules
Mostly Well prioritizes a respectful and harmonious environment, and some rules have been outlined by the property owner. By participating, you agree to:
Respectful Treatment: Treat roommates and their belongings with respect, maintaining a quiet and considerate atmosphere, respecting privacy, and handling shared facilities with care. Do not cause harm or alter personal belongings. Support other attendees’ enjoyment of the retreat.
Nature: This is a wooded environment, so be prepared for mosquitos, ticks, wildlife, poison ivy, and other natural elements.
No Firearms: Firearms are not allowed at this event.
Liability for Damages: You are responsible for any damage caused by your behavior. Assume full financial liability for repairs or replacements.
Smoking and Vaping: Neither smoking nor vaping are allowed inside, and outside smoking is permitted only if 1) windows are closed so smoke stays outside, 2) all guests dispose of their smoking trash safely and properly. Damages will be charged if smoking occurs inside or if clean-up is needed outside the unit.
Furnishings: Please take care of the venue’s furnishings. If you move something, put it back before you leave.
Garbage: Any garbage must be stowed in the proper garbage receptacle. DO not leave it on the porch or on the ground. Animals will find it.
Woodstove: Please let Lisa know if you need help to use the woodstove so we can get you started safely.
Well/Septic: The listing is on a well and septic systems. The mineral content in the water is high. During a drought, the well water may have a slight odor. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. If it is found that things have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages up to the cost of repair.
Drains & Diswasher: Do not pour grease down the drain, or put very greasy items in dishwasher. You can allow grease to solidify and put it in the trash.
Adherence to these terms is required for a positive experience. Non-compliance may result in removal from the retreat without refund.
Acknowledgement and Assumption of Risk
I voluntarily enroll in this retreat and waive all claims against The Host, instructors, vendors, caterers, employees, guides, property owners, agents, and representatives for any injury, death, property damage, or loss. This waiver includes claims arising from negligence and covers myself, my heirs, executors, and assigns.

Risks include falls, injuries, dehydration, sunburn, cardiovascular events, heat exhaustion, wildlife encounters, insects bites or sightings, foodborne illnesses, equipment or weather-related accidents, illness and death. I accept full responsibility for any injury, illness, or death from these activities.
I have no impairments that could endanger myself or others. I release The Host, its principals, instructors, agents, employees, vendors, and volunteers from liability for claims related to my participation, including those arising from negligence. This release is binding on my successors, heirs, and assigns.
I agree to indemnify The Host for any injuries or damages I may cause through negligence. I will reimburse The Host for legal fees incurred to enforce this agreement. This agreement remains valid even if any part is found invalid.
Media Release
I grant The Host unrestricted rights to use any captured media (photos, videos, testimonials) of me for illustration, promotion, advertising, and trade. This includes the right to alter and use my name. I release The Host from any claims related to media use, including libel or privacy violations. This release extends to my heirs, legal representatives, and assigns. I am competent to contract and understand this release, binding me and my successors.
Waiver and Release of Liability

I release The Host and affiliated parties from all claims related to my participation.
I confirm I am fit to participate and will follow all safety instructions. While The Host may offer suggestions, I am responsible for my choices and will consult my doctor for medical advice. If I experience pain or discomfort, I will adjust my participation and not hold The Host liable. I understand the retreat’s activities are not medical treatments and The Host is not qualified to diagnose or treat illness. By agreeing to these terms, I release The Host from all claims for damages or liabilities from my participation.
