Summer Camp

Mostly Well

RAVENNA, OH | JUNE 7-10

Recharge with other women at this active wellness getaway.

It’s like summer camp as a kid—but with better food, fewer tents, and zero stinky boys.

Remember the magic

of summer camp?

The simple joys of looking up at the stars, bonding over outdoor adventures, learning new skills, and making lifelong memories?

What if I told you that kind of fun doesn’t have to stay in childhood? You can still swap stories around a fire pit, hike through the woods, and feel the rush of outdoor adventure. Only now, you get all the best parts—without the lumpy sleeping bags and macaroni that sat in the sun for too long. And this time, there will be plenty of toilet paper.

Summer Camp Lodging

Welcome to

Mostly Well Summer Camp

A grown-up retreat for women ready to trade their laptop’s EMF rays for sun rays and get stronger in the great outdoors. We’re keeping the best parts of camp—hiking, community, and nature—but swapping:

  • Trust falls for fire pit convos about real-life health wins and struggles

  • Capture the flag for yoga and strength training

  • Basket weaving for practical lessons in nutrition and wellness

  • Scavenger hunts for unlocking the secrets to fitness at every stage of life

  • Cramped tents for a beautifully restored, cozy barn

Women's Fitness Personal Trainer

Why I Created This Retreat

As a 40-year-old certified personal trainer (and recovering corporate drone), I’ve worked with many women in midlife who crave real community—women who are tired of juggling careers, family, and responsibilities while feeling alone in their struggles to prioritize their health.

We give so much of ourselves to others, but we deserve time to recharge. And not just any break—a meaningful, energizing, and restorative one.

Strength and Serenity Wellness Weekend

a Transformative experience—

Now Coming to Ohio!

I know this will be a fulfilling weekend because our Strength + Serenity women’s wellness weekend in the Texas Hill Country last November was a smashing success. This ain’t my first rodeo, girl!

  • One client who struggled with exercise consistency completed four workouts in three days

  • A triathlete left inspired to try a continuous glucose monitor for better blood sugar monitoring

  • Several women found new focus on their fitness, leading to visible transformations over the next few months, and multiple winners in our 8-week fitness challenge

Now, I’m bringing a similar experience to my home state of Ohio.

What clients say

about mostly well retreats:

I loved the variety of activities, from yoga to hiking, to the fire pit and wellness activities. It was really fun to participate in all the offerings. I really liked being surrounded by nature and in warm weather. The food was outstanding!
(I enjoyed) absolutely everything—the fun workouts, the food was amazing, & the fellowship of other women. It was such a great experience!

As a 40-year-old woman who spent nearly two decades in the corporate world, I know what it’s like to balance the demands of your job and personal life while trying to stay healthy. Not to mention, fitness gets trickier when you hit midlife. I made a career transition to personal trainer to help other women prioritize their health and wellness, and I can’t wait to guide you through this weekend and show you what your body is capable of!

Katie Porras will lead us through restorative yoga sessions designed to release tension, quiet the mind, and bring a deep sense of relaxation. With her gentle guidance, you’ll have the space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself—whether you’re looking to unwind from daily stress or simply be more present in the moment. Her calming approach makes every session a chance to reset and recharge.

Hiking Trail Sign

Your Sign to Say ‘hell Yes’

Look, I know you have to work.  I know the tickets aren’t free.  But after 17 years of busting my butt in the corporate world, I learned the hard way: if you don’t prioritize your health, no one else will. And that at the end of the day, experiences like the ones I’m describing here gave me far more joy than the money in my bank account.

So, will you spend another summer hunched over your desk, building relationships by venting to coworkers about Chad, convincing yourself that trip to the splash pad was a fun little getaway?

Or will you invest in yourself—disconnect in nature, build strength, and learn how to care for the engine that allows you to do all the things?

If you’ve been waiting for permission to take a break… consider this it.

A few clicks are the only thing standing between you and an unforgettable event filled with sunshine, strength, and sisterhood.
